Millions of tiny glittering crystals sparkle on the carpet of snow beneath the cross-country skis in the Nassfeld-Pressegger See. The steady movement in nature clears your head. All you can hear is your own breathing and the sound of your skis gliding step by step over the snow.
An incredible 130 kilometers of well-prepared cross-country ski trails, including two high-altitude trails directly at Nassfeld, are available to winter sports enthusiasts away from the slopes on the mountain and in the valley. Where exactly? In the Nassfeld-Pressegger See vacation region including the Gailtal and Gitschtal valleys. An altitude difference of 600 to 1'500 meters makes the balance to a day of skiing so unique and welcome to the Outdoor & Relax World. Whether classic, skating or training for the next biathlon - the cross-country ski trails can be used in every variation.
Ice Skating
No less than 55 hectares of natural ice are available on the doorstep to our winter guests for gliding, romping and racing. Ice skaters who enjoy skating around the lake have found their ice paradise at lake Pressegger See.
